Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is a gentle, hands-on therapy that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions in the craniosacral system and fascial network (the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs).. It is often used to address a variety of physical, emotional, and developmental conditions.  This technique involves gentle manipulation of the fascia, addressing restrictions or imbalances that may affect both physical and emotional health. By releasing tension and restoring proper alignment in the fascial structures, CFT can help with many conditions. In infants, the most common are colic, constipation, reflux, torticollis, breast feeding difficulty, and tongue tie.

Unlock Your Full Potential with Body Work

The body can hold trauma in the form of physical, emotional, or psychological stress. When the body experiences a traumatic event, whether it be an injury, an emotional shock, or a stressful situation, it may create patterns of tension in the muscles and fascia. These patterns can become ingrained over time, leading to chronic pain or discomfort. The body’s nervous system may also store the memory of the trauma, causing the body to remain in a heightened state of alertness or tension. As these patterns become more entrenched, they can affect the body's ability to process and release the trauma fully.

Somatic emotional release is a therapeutic approach that helps individuals access and release stored emotions within the body. It is based on the idea that emotions and traumatic experiences can become trapped in the physical tissues, leading to discomfort, pain, or emotional distress. Through techniques such as bodywork, breathwork, and guided movement, somatic emotional release facilitates the release of these pent-up emotions, allowing the person to process and heal from past experiences. This approach can help restore emotional balance and contribute to overall physical and emotional well-being.
